ドイツのコッペル社製の蒸気機関車で、国鉄、日本ステンレス直江津工場を経て大井川鉄道に入線した。千頭−川根両国間で運転されていたが、1980年代後半に取りやめられ、静態保存となった。撮影時は千頭駅に留置されていたが、現在は新金谷駅のプラザ・ロコで展示されている。
